Overseas transport from Asia

Overseas transport is an economical and cost effective shipping solution subject to the current market situation which has pushed prices to new heights. The high shipping rates are, among other things, due to Covid-19, lack of capacity, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and lockdown in China. Most of our planet is covered by the ocean, which also makes sea freight one of the most available opportunities for shipping.

Overseas shipping and in particular the term ‘Deep Sea’ refers to transportation of goods in great scales on intercontinental routes. These are typically shipped from the major Asian container ports such as Shanghai or Shenzhen and they arrive in European container ports such as Rotterdam and Hamburg. When shipping large cargo volume at these lengths, there are a number of factors that make overseas transportation in Asia advantageous and competitive.

Collicare also offers other transport services from Asia. A great alternative is to order smaller cargo volumes by air freight, if you need quicker transportation. Another alternative is to transport larger amounts of cargo by train, and a third scenario could be to order general cargo through our combined sea and train freight service.

Regardless of the size of your goods, Collicare will meet your needs for shipping. Collicare acts like a ‘NVOCC’ actor (Non Vessel Owning Common Carrier) in overseas transports. This means that through our deals with various shipping companies and partners, we can find different routes and thereby offer you the best transit time and price based on the current market situation. Furthermore, our employees make sure to pick up the goods from the ports and arrange collection and delivery of the containers to your desired delivery address, so that there will be no unforeseen costs or delays.
